#3 Add some links to your website
On your new Weebly site, add a paragraph of text to your home page that explains why you are interested in this topic, and why you chose to build your website around it. For example, let's say you chose "dog mushing" for your website idea. On your home page, you would add a text box with a paragraph of text explaining why you were interested in dog mushing, what you liked about it, and any experience you may have with it.
In the text you type make sure to include at least one link to a site about your topic that helps explain something better. Following is an example of how that might look:
I have always been interested in dog mushing ever since I watched the first Race of Champions when I was a kid. I loved the excitement of it and I really love dogs. I knew then that I would be a dog musher!
Notice in the above example how Race of Champions is hyperlinked to another site? That's what you should do with the text you write on your home page - create at least one hyper link within the text that takes the reader to a related site with helpful information.

#4 What does it mean to embed media
To "embed" something into your blog, wiki, or website means that you are putting in code that opens a window of sorts to another website. For instance, you can go to a video you like on YouTube and get an embed code for that video. You can then embed the video onto your site by putting in that code that you copied. Now, people can see that same video on your site. You did not actually move the video. The code that you entered created a window on your site where people can view the video as it plays on YouTube.
#5 How to embed video
Watch the video tutorial below to learn how to embed video from YouTube into your Weebly site and your blog.
#6 Now you Embed some video
Now you will begin to practice embedding video from YouTube into your own Weebly site and blog. Think of the new "theme" you've chosen for your Weebly site in Module 9. Now consider your categories that you made into pages. Choose a video from YouTube that will give helpful information about your topic. Embed that video onto your Weebly site. For practice, embed the same video into a new blog post on your blog.
