Module 4 learning resources
Go through each of the 8 resources below to learn more about the basic features of the three word processing platforms. Although most have the same functionality, there are some variations you will want to know about so that you can make informed decisions about which ones you use.
#1 unit expectations
For this unit you will be expected to work with at least 2 Word Processing applications - Google Docs is a free web-based word processor. If you don't already have one, make sure to set up a Google account, so you have access to it. For the second word processing application, you may choose Microsoft Word, or Mac's Pages. Some people have both of these, so those people may choose. Some people only have one, so that is the one you will work with. Check the desktop computer in your classroom to see which is available. (Your Chromebook has GoogleDocs, but your computer at home or a future workplace may have Word or Pages, so it is good to be familiar with other word processing applications.)
The following video tutorials are for Microsoft Word, Mac's Pages, and Google Docs in Google Drive. Everyone should go through the Google Docs/Drive tutorials, and for your second you will choose the Word or Pages tutorials.
